CINNAMON ALMOND MORNING OATS
- 3 cups water
-1 cup milk of choice(try almond milk!)
-1 tablespoon coconut oil
-1 cup steel cut oats
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
-1 cup chopped cinnamon almonds
Melt oil in saucepan, add oats, stir 2 minutes to toast. Bring water and milk to a boil in pot,
add oats and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in salt and simmer 10 more minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
Portion into bowls and top with cinnamon almonds and fresh cinnamon.
Try fresh cut apple cubes as well!
 
SMOKEY WALDORF SALAD
-1/2 cup cooked chicken, chopped into bite size pieces
-2 granny smith apples, cubed
-1/2 cup smoked almonds
-1/2 cup seedless grapes, cut in half
-1/3 cup mayonnaise
-Butter lettuce
Mix all ingredients together and chill for several hours or overnight.
Garnish bottom of salad bowls with a springy bed of lettuce.

ALMOND PESTO
-half cup natural raw almonds
-3 cups fresh basil leaves
-half cup Parmesan cheese
-3 garlic cloves
-pinch of salt and pepper
-half cup extra virgin olive oil
Set olive oil aside. Add all other ingredients to a food processor.
When ingredients in processor are broken down, slowly drizzle in olive oil.
Ready in minutes and DELICIOUS with pasta, crusty bread or veggies!
               
 
CINNAMON ALMOND GRANOLA
-2 cups rolled oats
-1/4 cup brown sugar
-1/3 cup shelled sunflower seeds
-1/4 cup wheat germ or ground flax
-1/4 cup flaked coconut
-1/2 cup cinnamon almonds
(for less sugar, use our raw almonds)
-2 tablespoons canola oil
-1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pulse cinnamon almonds in a food processor. Mix together with rest of dry ingredients.
Heat oil, honey, vanilla in microwave for one minute and stir into granola mixture.
Pour mixture into cake pan and cook for 16 minutes(mixture should be browned),
stirring every 4 minutes.
Cool completely and store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Nobody can resist this healthy and super tasty snack!
SMOKED ALMOND FIGS APPETIZER
-24 smoked almonds
-24 dried figs
-3 oz. softened cream cheese
-2 teaspoons powdered sugar
-2 tsp. orange liqueur
Cut slits in figs. Stir together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and orange liqueur.
Fill each fig with this mixture along with one whole smoked almond. Press side of figs to secure.
